Summary

Summary

Summary
The war between the humans and the vampires ended in a compromise that both species shall co-exist peacefully. As vampires are still looked down upon by society despite the compromise Mika is faced with the dilemma of fitting in with the social image humans follow and the standards of a human based society or accepting who he is and truly being himself.
Yuu wants him to open up and be more outgoing especially after a certain day that scarred Mika deeply furthering his worry about the humans' view of him. What does that mean for the shinoa squad? They are *drum roll* going to university!

“It doesn’t matter if you care or not,” Mika snapped softly, allowing the pout to increase, feeling Yuu’s hand go down his nape to rub his shoulder blade. The weight on his back seemed to lift off just from the raven’s touch that felt so right. “It’s just messed up that I have to confide in you like this.” Their hands were still interlocked on Mika’s lap, and Yuu squeezed him tighter as soon as those words left his mouth.
“Hey,” Yuu said a bit more seriously. At Mika’s stubborn look, he smiled, and it was hard for Mika not to bonk his head at the way Yuu found this situation amusing. “You can always confide in me.” Their voices turned intimate, like this was a conversation reserved for lovers behind closed doors. Mika realized that it actually was.
