Summary
Another Holy Grail War is breathing, the mage's association is well aware of this, yet both the location and the involved mages are things that the mage's association cannot found out. There is something different about the Holy Grail War, it is nothing like the previous five that happened in the Japanese City of Fuyuki, but instead it is something never seen or heard of before.
Normally there are seven different classes of servants that would be summoned; A Saber, An Archer, A Lancer, A Caster, An Assassin, A Rider and A Berserker. Yet all of the servants involved in the war fall under the same class. Seven righteousness knights, seven heroes of the sword all summoned to the one city at once. It is a Holy Grail War that could only be fought with the honor of a swordsman.

Summary

Also, the Servant is infuriatingly arrogant, confusingly beautiful, and she insists on drinking bergamot tea. Worst of all: that battle-axe doesn't look like anything a Saber Servant would be using. How will the Flame Emperor's presence in Fuyuki affect the events of the Holy Grail war and the lives of the people she'll come to meet there?
A retelling of the fifth Holy Grail war from mostly Rin's point of view, with a very confused Edelgard playing the role of Archer. Sometimes comedic in tone, sometimes darker given the subject matter. Mostly about broken girls coming together to do the best they can with the shitty hands they've been dealt. Also, Shirou is there.

Summary

Rin's servant was beyond infuriating. He treated her like a foolish girl! He wouldn't even share his true name with her, demanding that she figure it out herself if she was worthy of being his Master. This wasn't how it was supposed to go.
None of it was. This entire Grail War was wrong from the start. The Grail War she had imagined was epic clashes between Heroic Spirits. That was not the Grail War that she got. She wasn't supposed to have to plot against her classmates, those she considered friends. She shouldn't be questioning if her teacher might actually be a servant. She wasn't supposed to wonder if goddamn Emiya of all people could be a Master. There never should have been this many witnesses. She shouldn't need to fight her sister... It just wasn't fair.
But the Grail didn't care about fair, nor did it care for tradition. All that it wanted was for there to be a victor.
And that a wish would be granted.
(Shirou is still the main POV although it will rotate a lot)

The man in front of him was middle aged, balding, cold eyed, and was in what looked to be an expensive suit. The command seals on his hand were blood red, violently obvious against his pale skin.
