Oikawa Tooru, famous singer and actor, is forced to return to his hometown to "get back to his roots", after he gets in a physical fight with paparazzi. Fine. That's fine. He'll go back for a few weeks, pretend that he's a changed man, and go home to his penthouse suite and his celebrity, star-studded life in no time. It'll be easy, he's literally paid to act like this anyway.
He just didn't count on having to spend time with Sugawara Koushi, an old classmate who Iwaizumi—his manager—is convinced will be able to set him on the right track again. He also, possibly, didn't count on falling in love.
It's a minor inconvenience, really. Just a tiny bump in the road. No biggie, he swears.
