Summary
Henry Winchester has a shocking encounter with his doppelganger in the mysterious hidden mansion of former Man of Letters Cuthbert Sinclair, in a gothic-tinged body-horror story that unfolds in fragments across time between 1957 and 2013. Amid Sinclair's monstrous experiments, Henry encounters a shapeshifter called Alice – who decades later will meet a match in his grandson Dean. Later still, in the Bunker library, Kevin Tran stumbles on pieces of the puzzle and starts trying to decode it.
