Mariella Greene feels as if she's lost herself. While that may have been common in the apocalypse, being isolated on her family's farm was exhausting and isolating. She was a combat medic, used to having chaos all around her. Going from insanity around her to utter silence was almost... scary.
It was almost like her prayers were answered in the cruelest way possible when a sheriff runs onto the Greene property, his dying son in his arms, leaving Mariella to save his life.

He probably left Alexandria. Again. Without alerting anyone. Michonne was always one to understand needing to isolate and be alone to gain your bearings during intense days, but this had gone on long enough. If Rick wasn’t home to take care of this, she would take matters into her own hands.
