Summary
Evan takes a deep breath but keeps his tone quiet and his head down as he finally opens up about what’s really going on. “Mom and Dad hurt me.” He says it quickly, hoping his sister will overlook the new information. Her eyes blink rapidly, fighting back tears at what her brother is revealing. “What do you mean they hurt you?" Still avoiding eye contact, he elaborates, “Do you remember when you came home from your friend's house and I had a black eye and a bloody nose?” She answers, "Yes,” before Evan continues. “I told you I got it because I fell off my skateboard, but it was because of Dad..."
Or...
A story of Evan going through different trials of his life and finding a family that sticks.

Summary
With his colleague out sick with the flu, aspiring journalist Evan “Buck” Buckley is sent to interview the crew of station 118 in her place. There he catches the eye of medic Eddie Diaz. A man with a dangerous darkness lurking behind his affable demeanor that draws Buck in like a fly to honey.
The two quickly fall into an intense relationship. But when Buck’s past comes back to haunt him, and a new threat looming in the shadows, he faces an impossible choice. Run, or give himself completely into Eddie’s keeping.
*Semi inspired by Fifty Shades of Grey, where Buck is an inspiring journalist with a bad relationship track record who finds himself in the crosshairs of a serial killer.

Summary
Buck nodded to the officer, “Of course, my mom’s name is Athena Grant-Nash, she’s a sergeant here-”
“Excuse me?” the man interrupted him. “Do you really expect me to believe that your mom just so happens to be a sergeant at this exact station?”
Buck frowned. “Um. Yes?”
The man scoffed. “Yeah, right. You must be dumber than you look. I happen to know Sergeant Grant, and I know that she only has two kids, May and Harry. She certainly doesn’t have some delinquent white boy as a son.”

Summary
“Hey Evan.” she whispered, tracing a gentle hand over his soft, pudgy cheek. “I’m your big sister. I’m going to take care of you.”
Evan blinked slowly as he took in his big sister’s face. As she drew her hand away from his cheek, he reached up with his own and seized her index finger, giggling as he grabbed his prize. His gummy smile was so wide, it crinkled his eyes nearly shut.
It was a contagious sound and a laugh burst out of Maddie’s chest with a sudden euphoric warmth. Evan’s grip on her finger didn’t loosen until they were leaving the hospital room and her dad took him back again. For hours afterwards she swore she could still feel the warm imprint where his tiny fingers had been wrapped around hers. "

Summary
The monsters under your bed is a phrase not to take too literally. We tell our kids the monsters under their bed aren’t real and that it’s just an irrational fear of the dark and the feeling of imaginary creatures, but none of it is real. The monsters under Evan Buckley’s bed are real, but they don’t lurk under the bed. His monsters lurk in the house and pose as loving parents...
OR....
Evan Buckley has some pretty shitty parents and Steve McGarrett shows him love and kindness in a way he's never felt before.

Buck could see Eddie's breath catch in his throat before he swallowed. “What’s your job?” Eddie asked, though Buck could tell Eddie already knew what he would say next.
Buck took a deep breath before answering, “To have sex with you.” He finally said, “It’s my job as your boyfriend to have sex with you.”

"The ring was simple. Not flashy or loud or overly ornate. Just a slim gold band, tucked into a tiny black velvet box Eddie had hidden at the back of his dresser drawer for months now. He hadn't picked it for a momentous, grand gesture. He didn’t want fireworks or spectacle or anything fancy.
He wanted Buck."

Summary
El sexo era bueno. Realmente bueno.
