Izuku sighed gently, running his hand through his hair and nodding. “Alright. What can you tell me, then? What am I allowed to know, oh great spirit of the eldritch forest?” He waved his arms towards the dense woods, adding as much sarcasm into his words as he could.
He realized in the space between words that the forest held no noise of its own. Shuddering at the unnatural silence surrounding them, his ears straining to hear literally anything in the greenery around them - and coming up short.
“I know you’re expecting some grand answer to all of your questions - but I have a feeling that your upbringing has left you with ample ways to deal with disappointment, so you’ll just have to utilize those,” a pause, as if the creature was thinking, “because there are no answers.”
