Blu's flightless condition was a source of contention for Jewel. In a cruel twist of fate, Jewel herself was deprived of that same ability, granting it to Blu through the miraculous power of love. In the wake of her long and challenging convalescence, the pair are finally able to enjoy the gifts of flight, and freedom, together.

Summary
Life thus far seems nice on the Amazon, but as Blu grows distant towards everyone an unexpected change of scenery and some new friends reveal to him his thus far unknown past and brings him in conflict with the deadliest, most evil adversary he's ever faced as he discovers where he comes from and who he really is.
Meanwhile, Jewel begins to question how much she's done for Blu in return for his endless selflessness and sacrifices; then when important figures of Blu's past appear after all these years, her family's happy days might come to an end and she might lose more than she ever thought she could.
Will Blu's family hold on or will this be the end of everything they knew?
