Ophelia needs a cigarette. She's overwhelmed. She's left her old life behind, moving to her grandfather's farm, while dealing with her alcoholism and her loss and grief involving her parents and grandfather. She hopes Pelican Town can begin to revive her, molding her into someone she wants to be. Maybe the people she meets along the way will help too. Maybe the magic of the valley, inherited from her grandmother and grandfather, will offer their own bits of healing.
