Lu Guang tries everything he can to prevent the same outcome as in past timelines from happening: Cheng Xiaoshi’s death.
His biggest problem now is Cheng Xiaoshi’s spiralling mental state and the fact that he has convinced himself that the world would be better off without him in it.

Summary
Cheng Xiaoshi’s life was a total mess from the very beginning. He drifted from day to day, telling himself one day he will find the one piece of himself — the one thing that would finally make him feel human again.
What he didn’t know was that this piece would come in the form of white hair, quiet anxiety, and a neurodivergent mind.
Lu Guang protected his peace so much that the only notification in his phone were reminders to take his meds. He told himself that loneliness was the only thing making him safe in this world.
So why, then, did he find comfort in the dark hair and explosive, chaotic personality of the boy from the parallel class?
(Or: Two boys, each at war with themselves, who never expected to find support in each other. Cheng Xiaoshi with ADHD and BPD, Lu Guang with OCD and autism. No powers involved.)
