Summary
SFC Jack Dalton and SPC Angus MacGyver are taking a relaxing break in Camp Kandahar, Afghanistan while they wait for the brass to give them their next orders. While having dinner at one of the many dining facilities on the large camp, an unexpected delivery puts Jack and Mac to work. Time is ticking, in more than one way, and Mac has to disarm a trapped device.

Summary
Set immediately after my fic "Bombs," Mac struggles with the after effects of bromine poisoning. Combined with the fact that he cannot seem to get out of Murdoc's head, or get Murdoc out of his head - he's not really sure - he is out of sorts, mentally off balance, and unsure how to unravel the stress that he feels from his reactions. Before he is able to work out his issues, Matty calls in the team for a simple extraction mission in Mozambique.

Continuation of "Mission Entry," Jack, Mac, and Cage have arrived in Maputo, Mozambique for their routine extraction. When the scheduled pickup only results in half of the mission requirements, the team has to find a way to locate the now missing agent. The key has to be on the flash drive they picked up, but when they get a look a the contents, things become a lot more personal. Jack is still worried about Mac; Mac still can't reconcile his emotional extremes. But there's a job to do and an agent to rescue.

Continuation of "Mission Escalation." The three Phoenix agents have only half of their mission complete. The other half, the extraction of CIA agent Deevo, has turned out to be more complicated than originally thought. With her successful use of her hacking skills half a world away, Riley was able to identify the location most likely to be where the agent was being held. Unfortunately, locating the main base of the human trafficking ring was the easy part.

Summary
Continuation from "Mission Complication." In the forest outside the hunting lodge turned human trafficking compound, Jack Dalton, MacGyver, and Samantha Cage formulate a plan to enter the compound, find the missing agent, then exit. As MacGyver is still showing signs of mental instability and aggression, Jack recalls just how bad it was, and how uncertain he is that his friend - his partner, the kid who'd become like a son to him - would recover from the devastating effects of the bromine inhalation he suffered while defusing a bomb under the Los Angeles Convention Center just two weeks ago. Worry upon worry, with the mission still in the forefront, Jack reflects on the fear he holds at bay and the frighteningly unfamiliar anger that seems to simmer just beneath the surface of MacGyver's actions.
