He was willing to bear with the shitty house if it meant being independent. Living with Uncle Bustopher, he’d never really wanted for anything. Mistoffelees wanted to at least try to live on his own--he was an adult now, after all.

Mistoffelees just moved out, is going to college for dance, just went to a job interview - everything seems to be looking good for him. But then he meets who he's supposed to be a backup dancer for, and things start going to shit in rapid succession.
Especially his 'love life'.

Summary
Macavity has had a dark past and a difficult life, although that’s no reason to blame him for his actions. But for the longest time, he’s been searching for something more, trapped in the confines of a curse placed upon him by his father.
Munkustrap just wants to defend his clan after a ravaging experience with the evil Macavity. But perhaps in his heart he knew that exile was not the path Macavity was destined for?
Mistoffelees is a shy, small tom looking for something more exciting than hiding in the background, although his heart is too big for his chest.
And the Rum Tum Tugger is just an overconfident cat looking for a bit of romance to spice up his life.
None of them expect what happens when the curse is lifted, and freedom for so many more than just Macavity is given.-

A multi-viewpoint story about the Jellicle Tribe, set in the same canon as Leijonara's 'When Stories of Old Stir the Heart', which inspired me immensely. Seriously, huge props to her and thanks for letting me use the canon.
Victoria complains she isn't respected enough, and her solution is somewhat misguided despite the best efforts of others. -
