But that isn't to say the change has been easy. After six years in Gotham, it gets even worse when she ends up falling for the one person she shouldn't have.

Damian is not jealous of the smart, likable, reserved- but still excitable Parisian that he shares almost every class with. He isn't. He refuses to deal with such a naïve and substanceless girl- until she corrects him in class.Damian gets payback, correcting her as he sees fit. He refuses to lose to such an unworthy opponent. She will not win.

Shenanigans insue that lead to eventual identities revealed, feelings becoming ever present, friendships to bloom, lies to come to light, emotions to become overwhelming, and eventually plenty of fluff. True holders have powers and marks. Adrien is not a true holder. The class is mentally, emotionally, and physically abusive to Marinette. Batfam will become very protective of Marinette the smol bean.
Warning: Explicit Language will be used. If you are not okay with cursing then don't read this. They are teenagers getting ready to exit high school, they are gonna curse. Not to mention the Batfam and other adults cursing throughout.

Because if she’s going to them, of all people, it’s because she doesn’t need help with something illegal, or with taking someone down, or teaching anyone a lesson. The only reason Harley would ask them for help is if someone, or something, that Harley considered important needed protecting.
Or if the Joker was involved.
Luckily (that was sarcasm) for all of Gotham, this particular story involves both of those prerequisites being met at the same time. Her daughter, who she has kept secret for years, is coming to Gotham and the last thing Harley wants is for the Joker to find out about her.
But her daughter isn’t walking into the lion’s den for nothing. She has her own mission in mind, one that she also needs the help of the Bats for.
So, all in all, it’s the usual Gotham chaos.

The most dangerous city on earth isn't kind to its residents—much less strangers who don't know how to watch their pockets or keep off the streets after dark. It's gotten better, perhaps, in recent years since the Bat started lurking on rooftops, but that doesn't mean the city is good.
Normal people stay as far from Gotham as they can get.
Marinette, (un)luckily, is far from normal.

The story of Marinette stumbling upon the illustrious Wayne family over and over again, as well as the more infamous Bats, over the course of her many visits to Gotham. She, of course, charms the whole lot of them and finds that the same is true in the reverse.

Bruce doesn’t know they are the Miraculous Team. They quickly figure out that he’s Batman. Shenanigans ensue, mostly involving crack content, rouge powers, and Damian and the class working together to set up Sabrina and Jon.
