Summary
August was raised in a convent kept by “The Sisterhood of the Shield,” A slightly more modernized and open answer to the reclusive Order of the Sword. This was not a particularly pleasant arrangement for a person who most definitely had some form of demonic blood in her veins. In the aftermath of the Crisis of Redgrave, she discovers a plot amongst the Holy City of Batrice’s elite to unleash a new Hellgate - or rather an ancient one sealed by the Dark Knight Sparda. Though she thwarts the plan, she falls through the gate, and lands within a temple dedicated to the sealed demon prince, Beelzebub, the youngest recognized heir to the Darkness Mundus.
Upon freeing Prince Beelzebub, the two agree to travel together to escape the demon realm. They both have business in the human world. Beelzebub is a curious demon; one with no ill will towards humanity. But he was sealed away by the Dark Knight regardless. Why? Meanwhile, August sets out in search of a young man. A devil hunter with white hair. The same white hair that she bears. Perhaps he may have some answers as to ‘who,’ or rather, ‘what’ she is…

Six months after the Vie di Marli incident, where the demon god Argosax was destroyed and the renowned demon hunter Dante had vanished into the demon world, a powerful demon named Urizen takes over the Human World by calling forth the demon tree Qliphoth and turns the humans into his thralls as a part of his plan of ascending to full godhood, leaving Nero, Lucia and Nico Goldstein as the remaining forces against his opposition, aided by a mysterious man named V. Returning from the Demon World, Dante learns that the world once swore to protect had been changed in his absence and finds himself involved in the battle against Urizen.

Griffon eventually dropped, causing the man to catch him. “Damn it, what the hell is going on?” He asked as he held the limp bird as best as he could. He’s pretty sure the feathers would be ruined with the way he held the familiar under the wing joints.
“I’m at my limit.” Griffon said between his pants. “Whatever you do, don’t get caught.” He warned. “Don’t get caught.”
“Wait, the help.” He reiterated. ”What do you need?” Nero asked as the situation finally caught up to him and things were starting to...shift? “Don’t die on me yet.”
“Your demon powers, kid. All three of us.” He muttered weakly.
