Emily comes back from London to save JJ from Askari, but the rest of the team are still rushing from DC. JJ is crashing, and Emily is struggling to undo the painfully tight bindings holding her up.There is no positive relationship between JJ and Askari in this fic. In my rewrite he does rape her rather than the threats in canon. This is not glamorised or romanticised.
A rewrite of “200” where the threats of rape are no longer threats. I love this episode, so let’s make it more angsty :]

It’s the heat. The unrelenting, sweat clinging to your clothes at night kind of heat, with humidity that never lets up. It’s a practical move against that heat, JJ tells herself, narrowing her gaze to the mirror version of herself, scissors glinting in the evening sun streaming in from the window.
It’s different to when she was a child. It only takes two cuts, two calm and steady movements of the scissors through the top of her ponytail, and she immediately feels lighter. Like maybe she can do this after all.

This is a fun little project to add extra scenes revolving around the characters from my "Might of Dracus" series, specifically: "Breaking the Chains," "Into the Abyss," "The Steely Embers," and "Forging the Bonds."
