Summary
Frank is a patient at William James Mental Hospital. Life there has been pretty good so far; he's recovering from depression quicker than anyone expected, and he doesn't wake up immediately wanting to hang himself anymore. His last days at the hospital are soon approaching, faster than he's ready for- but that changes when Gerard is admitted. Suffering from an illness alien to Frank, it becomes his designated job to secure Gerard's rehabilitation at William James. But curing someone from a severe mental disorder is a lot harder than it seemed, and Frank doesn't know if he has the ability to ensure Gerard's permanent well being. Feeling as though the weight of the world rests on his shoulders, Frank finds himself slipping into his old, deadly ways- and he's not sure how much longer he can stand the pressure without falling apart.

Frank Iero is the main character. The story is told from his perspective, unless otherwise noted.
Frank is in a long-term relationship with his boyfriend, Brendon. The two have been together for four years and have faced many difficult times during those four years, including three different breakups. Frank is settling with Brendon, and finds peace with the decision to stay with him even though it really isn't the love they once shared holding them together anymore. Needless to say, being "comfortable" with having each other around is the only thing holding the two of them together. He knows what he has with Brendon is finally secure, so he stays because he's afraid of being alone and knows he has Brendon to fall back on.
Everything seems to be going well between them, Frank accepts the life that's set in stone for him until an old flame of his, by the name of Gerard, comes back into his life, and makes him realize that his life is only just beginning. Will Frank decide to stay with his long-term relationship with Brendon, or will he give in to his undeniable feelings for Gerard?

His head was hurting everyday to think about the past and he still denied his feelings for Gerard, because he knew how wrong the feelings where.The only one who knew about was Pete Wentz, because ones at a party he and Pete was talking about the Way brothers and how much Pete was in deeply love with Mikey and how confused Frank felt about his feelings. Ever since then, he texted Pete everyday.
But the day has come where he had to face the truth.
