Summary
Usually Jason thinks it’s fucking hilarious when people assume he and Molly are dating. It’s just the sheer absurdity of it; they’re each firmly cemented in the other’s heart as the kind of friend whose affection is a rock no matter what happens, and the idea of romantic feelings throwing that for a loop when it’s one of the few stable things in either of their lives is laughable. Molly’s not sure she feels that way about guys ever, let alone about Jason. Sure, from some people it stings—Jason’s had too many foster parents say shit about his “slut girlfriend” to let it go without resentment—but for the most part it’s entertaining. Something to giggle about together. It lets them laugh at the world when it usually feels like the world is laughing at them.
But when they’re like this? Jason can admit that he understands why people mistake them for a couple.

Summary
"Loan shark"
/ˈlōn ˌSHärk/
Noun-DEROGATORY•INFORMAL
a moneylender who charges extremely high rates of interest, typically under illegal conditions.
"Reports of exploitation and deceptive trading practices by loan sharks."
Loan sharks and other money lenders are a common enemy of the “little guy,” and Gotham City, New Jersey had a very high populace of loan sharks walking her streets, preying on the less fortunate and the most desperate.
The Todd family was no exception and was targeted just the same.
Ex-Marine Willis Todd watched how greed had torn apart his family and left his son alone in a cruel world. He'd even decided Jason was in better and more capable hands when Gotham’s sweetheart, Bruce Wayne, had adopted his son from off of the streets... At least until Jason Todd was declared dead two years later. Time passed, and Willis had lost his entire family, only to gain a new one, and he would not give up until he discovered who had murdered his son.
Then his Boss calls him late one night, and Willis finds himself with another chance to become the father his boy had always deserved.
