Summary
It’s been two months since the Kraang invaded New York, wreaked havoc, and got kicked out again. The turtles and their family have mostly recovered from the battle, but it’s been difficult getting back to “normal.”
Casey Jr. is both amazed at and overwhelmed by the present-past. He ends up taking a job as a delivery person at Run of the Mill Pizza to help him adjust. While on a delivery in the Hidden City, he has a run-in with yet another familiar face. In Casey’s future, Angel was rescued by his mom during the early days of the Apocalypse. She’d become an aerial Resistance fighter and a part of Casey’s family. This Angel is a scrappy street thief kid who uses her mystic ability to grant people wings to confuse her targets.
Casey Jr. is left with no pizza and no hockey mask, a pair of temporary wings, and the determination to save one more person from the future in the past.
TL;DR: a random post-movie wing fic where the guys all end up with wings along the way for at least a bit, there’s some chaos and feathers and shenanigans, the Rat King is around, and Casey Jr. is grieving while desperately trying to keep everyone he knew/knows safe.
