OR, when izuku returns home from germany for hiis residency program after the war to an unfamilliar country with unexpected confidence and compitence, people he once idolized look at him with an unease hes never experienced.

He knows quirks hold some essence from their original holder, he has been haunted by them in the past after all. So, what if his did as well? What if a connection could be maintained like a download, slowly adding his consciousness to another body? Perhaps it would be possible, but he would need a rarity nowadays to do so cleanly.
