Summary
Reo drinks in the realization that unfolds across Nagi’s face, confronted with how their friendship is no longer what it used to be. Nagi ruined that all on his own, and he didn’t even recognize it until now. It’s the smallest of triumphs, witnessing Nagi looking hurt for once, but it’s not enough to satiate that gaping void within Reo that wants more, wants to break Nagi down and eat him alive.
“You didn’t choose me…so I’m going to crush you,” Reo declares.
