Especially when you've been thrown into a world where literal gates of Hell start opening up.
Between fighting evil cultists and demon lords, running errands for peasants, dodging the law like it’s Les Misérables, and relying on help from a cast of questionable lunatics—including an inconveniently handsome Nerevarine, the old Eternal Champion (fueled by revenge and sweetrolls), a tax-evading horse, and the only Bosmer in Tamriel who can’t shoot—Amaya is barely keeping up with her quest, let alone her sanity.
All Amaya wants is to survive the next week without being disemboweled, dismembered, or getting stabbed in weird locations. Preferably in that order.
Join our deeply inelegant protagonist on an awkward adventure as she tries to stay alive long enough to save the last heir to the Septim throne. Or at least kiss him. Eventually.
And to think, all of this started because Sheogorath got bored.

Her gaze locked onto Teldryn, lips parting slightly as if she recognized him despite his covered face. Teldryn held her stare, utterly still. And then, the Justiciar turned away, speaking something in hushed tones to her companion. Your pulse quickened. That hadn’t been nothing.
Teldryn got up quickly, motioning for you to follow. “We’re leaving.”
You didn’t argue. You didn’t need to. If they weren't there for either of you before, they were now.

He’s been so focused on his plan actually working that when it did he had no idea what to do after. Only too late did he realize that they have incurred the unbridled wrath of Azura.

The Nerevarine has finally fulfilled the prophecy, defeating Dagoth Ur once and for all. The Tribunal were dead, and now too was Voryn Dagoth. The story was coming to a close as the Nerevarine laid down in the heart chamber, ready for death to take him as well.
So imagine his surprise when he woke up in Resdayn as Nerevar once more.
