She had never really vocalised the emotions that she felt for Lena, it wasn't something that she vocalised in general there was no point to the molly coddling of children it just inflated their ego and made them entitled. However that worm thing had managed to get her to face the truth, she loved her, the following revelation that Lex was planning on having her killed, his desire to cleanse things, something that she had taught him a long time ago but couldn't quite believe he would have the gall to attempt to use against her.
