Oscar Piastri had, for the first time in his life, decided to be spontaneous, and he was beginning to regret it. Moving from Australia to the UK had admittedly not been his finest decision, but it was much too late to be regretting that now. He’d finished university, got his degree, and decided that Australia wasn’t going to be the location of his fresh start. That title was reserved for here, London. Gone were the sunny days of Melbourne, and hello were the grey, dreary days of London.
However, there was one problem, he’d failed to find somewhere to actually live. Now Oscar didn’t lack the funds to find that somewhere, he’d just decided to move here so quickly that the thought of a new home had slipped his mind. He could afford hotel stays for the foreseeable future, but that wasn’t exactly practical. So a certain American was his only option at that moment in time.

The 2025 season had been tough on Kimi, and not having Ollie by his side only makes it harsher. Except, all of a sudden, Ollie is back, inviting him for a cozy Christmas up in a cabin, surrounded by nothing but snow. And Kimi knows he shouldn't go...
Ollie Bearman is an asshole. He knows it, and, trust him, he feels bad about it. When their first Formula One season started, he had believed himself to be more than ready for the complications that lay ahead. He was wrong. In the midst of getting used to a new team, assimilating how gorgeous Kimi Antonelli looks all of a sudden does not help. So Ollie drifts away, like he knows he shouldn't do, a bit too terrified by the feelings in his stomach every time Kimi smiles at him. But now, the season is over, and Gabriel is all over his ass to fix the mess he made. So he invited Kimi to a secluded place, alone, like the idiot that he is. Worse of all, Kimi says yes.
Now, they're stuck spending Christmas together, trying to fix a friendship that means the world to both of them.

It was bittersweet, watching Ollie's mom drive off to drop him off at the airport. Kimi wanted to be happy, that Ollie was moving on in life. That he's getting his degree, getting to go back to the UK. But he's not. He's not happy. Kimi desperately wishes he didn't have to go, that Ollie could stay here, in Italy.
He feels it deep in his chest, possessiveness. Kimi is terrified— terrified that Ollie will meet someone and Kimi will just be an old friend. That Ollie's kids will find a picture of him and Kimi and when they ask 'Dad, who's this?' all he will say is 'Someone I grew up with.'
Kimi hates it. Hates it with everything inside his body.

A black string necklace on his neck, a shiny silver pendant that looked vaguely like a shark tooth in the middle. The work uniform, a black short-sleeved button up and an olive green apron drawing Oliver’s eyes to his arms. They looked strong, intentionally muscular and bronzed from the sun. He had a small tag on his apron, reading “Nome: Kimi”.
