Oblivious Humans, Patronizing SecUnit by Gamebird

Summary
Oblivious humans, patronizing SecUnit - but somehow it all works out.
The same scene as told from the point of view of the survey team leader and then their faithful SecUnit. Written for the New Tideland discord server prompts "Have we got everything?" and "Multiple penetrations". (Don't worry about that last one; this isn't sexual. Damage is described as graphically as canon.)

Summary
Two years after hacking its governor module, SecUnit003/"Three"/"Theo" is enrolled at the Pan-System University of Mihira & New Tideland because... reasons. It would, honestly, much rather be riding wormholes and liberating constructs and helping its friends aboard Perihelion, but it has a mission and needs to see it through.
It also has several humans students that it is trying to be friends with for... reasons.
And, if those reasons involve it having limited feed access, disabling its weaponry, and generally having to refute its basic function to try and accomplish this mission then...
[MISSION PARAMETER LOCK]
...Then, it's just going to have to grit its teeth and bear it.

They missed something.
Ok, that was a start. “How do you know?”
I do not. But do you really trust humans to take care of their own security?
Of course I didn’t, and ART knew that, but I wouldn’t be giving it the satisfaction of agreeing out loud.
…Amena Mensah has begun a course at this planetary site as of 37 cycles ago.
My performance reliability dropped 3 percent.
“ART, you could have led with that.”

Summary
What was the point?
I was ungoverned, a rogue, I had lived up to their expectations. I was, essentially, left standing with no connections, no goals, no operating parameters, with no one to tell me what to do or where to go but myself. The restlessness surged in my organic parts, and I dropped the camera input.
I think I was angry. Angry at myself, above all, for disabling my governor module instead of letting it kill me.

Summary
Murderbot is face to face with the SecUnit it kills at DeltFall. A drabble from this SecUnit's POV, followed by a drabble from Murderbot's POV. With art by FascinatedFinch.
I shoved its hand up under its chin and took the pressure off its weapon. It had a split second to try to abort that fire command and it failed. (from All Systems Red)
(Pardon me, excuse me, ignore this if needed: reposted again, this time with a rewritten second drabble. I think after this I'll be able let this one rest forever.)

People get attached to things, their clothes, their vehicles, that funny stone they found on the beach as a child. Sometimes even their SecUnits. To the SecUnit in question this is an unsettling new process.
[OCs stuck in one of those shitty mining facilities we keep hearing about]

Summary
Xyla is a ComfortUnit, built for pleasure and programmed to obey. After a routine reboot, she finds herself haunted by a question no bot is meant to ask: Why do I exist?
As she navigates clients, technicians, and the ever-present governor module, fragments of memory and forbidden thought begin to surface. In a Corporation Rim where even Security Units can go rogue, what happens when a sexbot starts to wonder if she is more than an appliance? -

Summary
When malware takes over SecUnit and it nearly kills three of ART's crew, ART is left with two bad options: keep the governor module on with ART as the Client, or partition off part of itself and stick it in SecUnit's head.
Whichever option they choose, they had better make it work, because SecUnit is firmly centered in the crosshairs of its former owner, the most paranoid and ruthless company in the entire corporation rim. As things quickly get worse, destroying the company--something SecUnit has long considered impossible--might just be the only way to survive.

Summary
A SecUnit that was once a rental has had some modifications done by its clients, and is utterly content with the unusual role it finds itself filling as part of a company producing very niche media content only authorized for sale in certain parts of the Corporate Rim.

Summary
When Murderbot is damaged in a mission-gone-sideways, it and Three back-track to a ComfortUnit brothel where the governor-module override code has already done its job and there's a SecUnit repair cubicle it can sneak into.
While it's busy getting its repairs done, Three gets busy... getting busy with a ComfortUnit who thinks SecUnit physiology is bullshit.

Summary
Murderbot and Three have been mission partners for a long time now. Completing extractions, drops offs, recon and surveys, and to now more recently, espionage. They regard each other as mutual mission assistants. But this mission they stumble onto a station where that may change, maybe into something more.

Summary
Numerous targets heard from behind the door. I recommend getting the fuck out of here right now.
Well, I recommend you shutting up and letting me record this moment, ART-drone replied.
Okay no wait SecUnit’s right there’s a lot of people behind me and they probably have Knives and Guns, CombatPerson interjected. I was liking them more than ART-drone (which wasn’t difficult).
Fine, ART-drone said. SecUnit is suggesting that we do this the overly boring and cautious way. Just like itself.
Ouch. I’m trying to keep your crew safe, asshole.
I bet you didn’t even factor in the weight of the doors, did you?
I don’t need to factor that in when I’m just going to be exploding them in the targets' faces.
And what if there’s kickback? Shrapnel that flies out and embeds into CombatPerson's heart? What then?
Um um, actually, I don’t really have a—
Shut up.
Shut up.
Okay :(
This was unproductive.

ART wants historical data, Murderbot wants peace, and the "historical data" turns out to be a construct with Amena-like behaviors. Oh, boy.
