Summary
Owen Grady was many things: a soldier, an antisocial person, and someone who preferred animals to people. Most importantly, he was someone who was fascinated by dinosaurs and had nothing left to lose, which is why he accepted the suicidal offer to become the Raptor Trainer. After all, it couldn't be that difficult, especially with his ability to hear the animals in his mind. What he didn't expect was to become his own experiment. Little by little, he was becoming a Raptor and would soon be able to switch between two forms. But deep down, that didn't matter to him. His pack was his family, and Blue was the only one who made his heart beat faster than a war drum. But when everything he knew starts to change, Owen discovers that having the heart of a Raptor isn't enough to save his family. He needs to be a Raptor and choose between the two worlds he lives in: Human and Dinosaur. But maybe that's an easier decision than he imagines.

Striking green eyes glared up at Hoskins even as the other raptors chased the pig. The man found himself holding his breath as images of sharp white teeth flashed in his head, the distinct feeling of being judged rearing up in his mind. He released it as the animal finally looked away, chasing after its smaller brethren.
He doesn't notice the trainer, Barry, staring intently at him in much the same way as the raptor was, nor does he notice the derisive huff or the small smirk of anticipation gracing his face.
It's funny, not many can say they've stared death in the face and lived to tell the tale. At least, not for very long.

Life on the Island was peaceful for Owen, minus the impending doom in the form of an erupting volcano and three hyperactive hatchlings. Oh, did he also mention the weird visions he was also getting like some sort of prophetic future vision mayhem about to happen which Owen calls total BS.
Things take a turn when they were suddenly visited (again!) by humans and this time, the dinosaurs would find themselves displaced in a world completely not of their own. It never occurred to Owen how much his parents sought out help just to find out the truth of what happened to him. It also never occurred to him he may have to introduce his new family to his old one.
2 lives in which he lived and still lives in are about to collide and he already has enough of his plate with a crazy modified dinosaur intent on stealing his girls.

He's never going to let those monsters near his raptors or this mysterious soldier, unless it involves siccing his squad on HYDRA.

For once, Harry's mind tore away from the war and went knee-deep into another subject. Animals, and how even the most dangerous ones can form a bond with a human. He had been studying animal behavior and medicine for a couple of years when the news reached his ears about an opening in a whole new world. A dinosaur park, and with Charlie pushing him to go on vacation. Harry did just that, he hadn't been expecting the job offer one where Harry just knew he would fit right in.
