  Summary

  When Lucas is nearly killed by an inexplicable shockwave, the trajectory of his life is changed drastically.

  It’s only when he actually starts his journey that he begins to realize this. His newfound sensitivity to Aura proves to be the least of his concerns: he can't pinpoint why he feels sudden anger towards unfamiliar faces, nor can he figure out what drives him to fight Team Galactic.

  It doesn't take him long to suspect that his only lead is the one who introduced the concept of Aura to him: Aevus, who seems to know far more than he lets on.

  When Dialga notices several alternate timelines unraveling due to the Red Chain's use, he recognizes the possible threat to his own timeline. With his future vision lost to him, he does not know who would threaten the fabric of space-time or why...but he intends to find out.

  Disguising himself as a human named 'Aevus' was merely the first step. The next step is to gain the trust of his only lead: Lucas, the boy who somehow survived Roar of Time.

  (Before the events of Platinum, Lucas is somehow struck by a shockwave from Roar of Time. This places Dialga in the role of deuteragonist, whether he likes it or not.)
