Summary
Sometimes Percy just wants to hide from the whole world, he wants to forget who he is and his responsibilities; unfortunately, that option is not available to him. The camp is better than ever and the gods have somehow kept their promise, but that does not mean that the tranquility lasts (at least for the Son of Poseidon).
The arrival of a new camper -Nathan- and an invitation to Atlantis (for both) by his father is the beginning of a series of situations that will make him doubt everything. Why does Triton have to openly express his disdain towards him? Why can't he just ignore Percy? Why can't Amphitrite pretend it doesn't exist instead of giving it biting comments? Why can't his father say a kind word to him?
Why does everyone prefer the newcomer? Why can everything have a chance to make a mistake except Percy?
What seemed to be a week to at least try to put his mind at peace ends up becoming a nightmare; Especially after a series of misunderstandings that make Percy end up running from there.
