Summary
When 11-year-old Fabian Seacaster snuck into his father's room searching for treasures he could sell for more gold, he wasn't necessarily expecting that the spirit of the master adventurer and professional battler Pok Gukgak would emerge from a magic arquebus and possess his soul. Or, more specifically, take lodgings in his heart and encourage him to try competitive adventure battling for himself. Nor does he expect to take that journey, enjoy it, make friends, make enemies, fall in love, perhaps do all three with one specific person, and find his own little family, while also helping Pok connect to his one last time.
An AU where the Fantasy High characters are thrown into the premise of Qi Hun, the cdrama adaptation of the anime/manga Hikaru No Go.

Summary
It starts with the death of King Itham of Fallinel. Riz's abduction by the Court of Stars would've been a non-starter if it hadn't been revealed that he was the last of the king's line after his father's sisters refused the throne. Someone should've warned the Court of Stars the consequences of taking one of their own. It's a no holds barred rescue mission and if the Bad Kids have to dismantle the Court of Stars, so be it.
But it won't end there. The Shadow Cat is manipulating events from the shadows and it's up to the Bad Kids to find out what's rotten in the material plane, no matter the cost.
