Summary
You’ve heard the phrase “its the little things that count”, but those little moments in time all added up to an expansive collection of treasured memories. Most folks would call the dynamics of such little things “mundane", but you quickly grow a newfound appreciation for such elementary interactions and engagements when you’re void of them for months on end… for years on end. You grow to appreciate a lot of little things, really.

Laying on their side, Starlight could feel Avior’s heart beating beneath their palm, the only barrier between their deft, gentle fingertips and his beautiful skin being the soft cotton of his oversized t-shirt. The faint, rhythmic thumping below the Freelancer’s touch is a sensation that feels just as grounding as the treasured sunshine that streamed through the half-opened window. Just enough warmth filled the room- it was strangely never too hot, never too bright- that they could each feel the comfort of the sun’s pleasant heat kissing their skin, lulling the couple into a light and dreamless rest.
