I’m willing to go along with your plan.” He still feels a bit dizzy – though that could be from the hopeful look Sethos was giving him – but his mind is clear enough that he knows exactly what he’s saying. He knows what Sethos is proposing, and where disappointment would have – should have – made its home; anticipation settles there instead. Perhaps the breeze whispered things to him again; perhaps it was his tendency to get into things he really shouldn’t. Perhaps it was just the want to be near this man in any way he could that encouraged him to accept without hesitation.
