Summary
In a world where everyone possesses some form of magic, you have the unique and terrifying ability to feed on the fears of others---an ability that's caused you nothing but trouble. When you first got out of basic and joined your team, specialized standard protocols had quickly been implemented to keep you from hurting those around you, accidentally or intentionally. Those protocols were for your own good...or, at least, that's what your previous captain had told you. What happens when you're transferred to Task Force 141, and you slowly start finding out that the "standard protocol" for dealing with people with dangerous abilities like yours isn't as standard as you thought?
----------
This fic is based off of my Nightmare!AU posts on Tumblr, my username is trust-is-a-dangerous-thing if you want to go skim those for more <3
Idk exactly how long this fic will be, but I'm aiming for about 15-20 chapters.

Summary
“They say the Ghost has no heart,” the soldier says, casual like he’s just come back from an evening stroll instead of a torture session. Without breaking eye contact, he taps the tip of his knife, still wet with Johnny’s blood, against the one-way glass, leaving behind a smear of crimson. “But I do not think that is true. I think I have found the Ghost’s heart, and I have strung it up like meat from butcher. Right. There.”
The man smiles, close-lipped and unassuming, and that disturbs Ghost more than any grin with too many sharp teeth ever will.
“It is pretty heart. Very pretty. But like butcher, I will carve it up in front of you if you do not tell me what I want to know."

Summary
✨He was just another uniform in the back of her classroom—stoic, unreadable, unremarkable. Until she smiled at him. Soft, unsure. Sunshine in a human body. And he? He was the shadow, trying not to burn just by standing too close.
Now Lieutenant Riley has a problem. And it smells like vanilla. She’s gentle. Awkward. His daughter’s teacher. His new fixation.
Sweet in a way he never thought he deserved. But now that he’s seen her—really seen her—he wants more. Wants to know what she sounds like when she falls apart.
And she has no idea what happens when a man like him starts to crave something soft.✨

Summary
The mask never comes off. Not around allies, not even in sleep. It’s the only thing separating Lieutenant Simon Riley from the wreckage of his own mind. Haunted by trauma, grief, and a past soaked in blood, Ghost is sent home on medical leave, until a mission drags him back to the only place he feels in control:
The battlefield.
But war doesn’t silence his demons.
Each fight triggers memories he thought were buried for good. Nightmares bleed into waking life, visions of a lost comrade haunt him, and every breath is a fight against panic, guilt, and the creeping sense that someone in command has betrayed them all.As the mission spirals into chaos, Ghost is forced to question everything: his orders, his leaders, even himself. Hunted by enemies and haunted by the past, he’ll have to decide if he’s still a soldier… or just a shadow of one.

Summary
Price was the kind of CO men would follow into fire. Soap had looked up to him for years. Still did. But since the locker room…
It had lodged in his brain like shrapnel.
“Didn’t peg you for the type to go for him.”
In one sentence, Price had revealed something, an assumption, a consideration. That he’d thought about it. About him. About who Soap might be looking at.

Summary
Ghost is used to working alone. Sure he has his friends, Soap, Gaz, and his practical father, Price, but even they all know when and when not to get in the way of his 'methods.' So when Price announces a new lieutenant will be joining the team, he isn't too welcoming to the idea of having a partner.
Come to find out, this partner knows a lot more than she's letting on. Ghost's mistrust and gut instincts lead to a strained relationship, even if he is a bit of a hypocrite when it comes to hiding things, and the two lieutenants just cannot seem to get along.
Is he justified in mistrusting her? Or is he just being an asshole.

Summary
Female OC intel officer, CIA/ SAD operative Nina Raynes dropped into TF-141's mess during the main story of MW2 (2022).
Recently inspired by apparent leaks for MW4 to Rewrite and re-edit the first (and only) fic i've finished and then hoping to restart and finish my MW3 fic in time for MW4's release next year. I've developed a lot as a writer since I first wrote this fic and there's some glaring mistakes and issues I want to fix too.
