Summary
Once upon a time, Humans and Hybrids were equal. They lived together in harmony, co-existing. But as the years went on, that changed.
Humans, being afraid of the Hybrids, stripped them of their rights, making them slaves, workers, servants, even toys. The Hybrids tried to fight back, but being outnumbered by the Humans, were quickly defeated. Every hybrid now must wear a collar made of Silver. The collar is inscribed in Runes that keep the Hybrid in check, cutting their strength and senses in half, and if a Hybrid is out of like, can be activated with all sorts of punishments.Rooster Teeth is a well known Hybrid-Rights group, as well as being a safe-haven for free Hybrids and Humans alike. But they are more then just a rights group, they also actively free Hybrids and fight and kill Slavers. The biggest sub-group is known as the Achievement Hunters.
Join Gavin Free as he is thrown from his life as a slave, as an experiment, into a world of fighting, freedom, and maybe even love.

Humans and Hybrids have never gotten along. Humans are superior and better than hybrids, and so are treated like people. Hybrids are treated like animals, kept as pets, slaves, toys, show-things, anything that's inhumane to have humans do, you bet your bottom dollar a hybrid is doing it. Those jobs where you have to build things at an assembly line? Hybrids make those. And for less than a dollar an hour. When a human does those jobs--which is rare-- they get at least minimum wage.
Disgusting, right? Many think so too. That's why there are "Hybrid Rights" groups, like RoosterTeeth, one of the largest groups. Its not only a safe-haven for Hybrids, it's also one for humans as well. They believe everyone is equal, and will stop at nothing to prove it.

"Michael!" He protested, feathers definitely ruffled in protest as Geoff's warming laughter echoed off the walls upon hearing the outrage Gavin cooed Michael's name. There was a "hehe bird vagina" somewhere in that laughter, only adding to Gavin's distress. "I don't have a vagina!" Gavin insisted while a few stray feathers fluttered to the floor.
"A cloaca." Ryan corrected, smirking at the house cat. Michael shot a grin right back at the jaguar.
