Welcome to Cocktober 2025! Lots of love and thanks to Whimsy for putting this event together. Thanks for getting us all out to play. 🥰
Never took part in something like this before and it was a very sudden decision. So, although my hope is to write something for every daily prompt, I will make no promises.
I have no idea of what length each chapter will have—it might range from 300 to 1500 words. If I do skip a day, I will try to include it at the end of the month and then rearrange the chapters to be in order. We'll see. 🤷♀️

Despite introductions and catch-ups, congratulations and condolences, he sticks close, something she loves him for even more. She needs him close.
Eventually, he asks her the question she’s been expecting.
