Summary
With the Burning Legion defeated, Azeroth's people are in a fragile and perilous peace between the Horde and Alliance. Newly titled Warchief, Sylvanas Windrunner intends on using High King Anduin Wrynn's efforts to maintain the peace against him and shatter the Alliance once and for all, but the young king has his own scheme in mind, one involving his most loathed advisor.

Summary
Inspired by the cutscene where Thrall convinces Anduin to stop hiding and come back to help Azeroth. As I wrote this, I remembered the first five lines of an old poem called "The Hound of Heaven" by Francis Thompson and felt that it resonated with Anduin's experience in the story:
I fled Him, down the nights and down the days;
I fled Him, down the arches of the years;
I fled Him, down the labyrinthine ways
Of my own mind; and in the mist of tears
