James Potter didn’t mean to trend on social media. He definitely didn’t mean to be caught on camera with Regulus Black, London’s most scandal-prone socialite and the last person he wants anything to do with.
To save his public image and his green energy company, James agrees to a fake relationship. Just long enough to satisfy the press, distract investors, and keep the board from panicking. Regulus, of course, makes it difficult. He always has.
Their history is complicated. Their chemistry is worse. And the longer the charade drags on, the harder it gets to pretend that nothing ever happened between them before. Or that it doesn’t still matter now.
Meanwhile, Remus Lupin is trying to keep their startup afloat, avoid talking about Sirius Black, and pretend he hasn’t spent the last decade quietly breaking his own heart. He’s used to staying in the background. But dreams don’t come true from the sidelines.
