I saw this idea about writing Jack and Tyler's 'relationship' from the perspectives of other characters. It seemed really fun and interesting to try out something different so I thought I would!! I'm going to do this with plenty of characters since this idea really intrigues me and I love this so yes. This isn't my original idea and I credit the user who I got this idea from :-).
BTW I call the narrator Jack. Do expect to see a lot of that. I'm aware different people have different names for him. Like Bob for example knows him as Cornelius.

I first heard about the club from Bob in the testicle cancer therapy group a week or so ago. He told me he was quitting.
"I mean, the cancer's gone now, and what have I got to show for it? Just a batchelor's degree in 'gettin' all mushy' with a major of 'massive fucking girl tits'. I'm tired of pretending this is what being a man is. All that '21st century tender masculinity' shit. And plus: I've found a new club. And it doesn't do all this gooey feelings shit like everywhere else does. This one's barebones. Primal, even."

In a universe where the Narrator doesn't set up Fight Club. Instead, in his constant search for new therapy groups, he walks into a sweaty basement at 3am, and meets Tyler Durden- and oh my god, it gets worse.
AUTHOR’S NOTE: this fic is on hiatus for an unknown amount of time. um uhhh revision studying I suppose but in reality I just do not enjoy the characterisation of this.

I really wasn't afraid of getting cancer and dying, I had seen children with cancer, I met some; They were loved, some were hailed as a sign from God, they were seen as "The Lord" wanted to take them, they were God's children, the new angels who had been carefully chosen, the children who had to go through all the suffering to be worthy. of the divine and unique presence of God. Was it worth all the suffering to be part of heaven? I heard stories of parents who lost their children to cancer, some really resented life, destiny, and God. With the man up there who apparently gave them something, and took it away from them, painfully and slowly.
Would my parents cry if i died of cancer? Would they be angry with life? Would they be angry with God?
