After enduring hours of painful interrogation, he is subjected to detailing all of the previous heists him and his teammates performed to prosecutor Sae Niijima. Will Ryuji be able to find a way out of this, or will his teammates suffer the same potential fate as their leader?

They were too casual, unbothered, not even stopping when Ann was for sure close enough to see them. In fact, Ryuji only leaned further back, up against the barrier of the roof, shooting her a quick “‘sup” as if nothing had even been going on while Ren remained single-mindedly focused on his task.
Maybe he’d lost a bet or something. Or maybe it just wasn’t weird. But the question was too present at the forefront of Ann’s mind.

Skull has jagged teeth in the metaverse, which is easy to notice when he takes down a shadow with a wide grin and a pep in his step afterward. His laugh echoes when Mona falls for another of his jokes, his mouth open to reveal his sharp teeth glinting in the palace lights. Akira, of course, notices all of this.

Ryuji tries so hard to be okay, both with his new school and the distance, but Akira's not texting him back, and their friends are as devastated as he is, and all Ryuji knows is that they can't abandon Akira after all he's done for them. Somehow, someway, they're bringing his best friend home.
OR, a month and a half after p5r ends, Akira returns to Tokyo and the life he thought he'd lost forever. There's a lot of healing to be done.

Or, this is my attempt to better develop Ryuji as a character, given how the game and its characters often treat him so poorly, and how he's never allowed to be more than fodder for unfunny jokes (including that scene. You know which one). RyuAnn slowburn, but also focuses on Ryuji's other relationships, especially with Shiho and Ren. Updates Mondays.
