The world of Chainsaw Man is driven by the fear of Devils creatures born from humanity's deepest anxieties and phobias, their strength fueled by how much they are feared. Similarly, in The Boys universe, Supes beings granted powers by Compound V are fueled by greed and exploitation, often resulting in chaos and destruction.
Now, imagine if the Demon King, an entity far beyond these systems, were to arrive. His sheer power would disrupt the already chaotic mix of Chainsaw Man's Devil driven fear and The Boys' corruption fueled anarchy, pushing this dark world further into the abyss. Summary
A rewrite of the original "RE: Determined Fate" story. More detailed, with more characterization, some mystery here and there, and a bit more suffering to top it all off.
After the destruction of his world, Ryutensei found himself in a new world with its own problems. Quickly finding himself wrapped up in some royal selection after meeting a candidate, Emilia; Ryu tries to figure out a path to victory in this world. This was a second chance at life, and he refused to let it go to waste. He wanted to find the best path to saving this world, to achieve another Perfect Ending.
But there are powerful forces at work who'd just love to see him fail. How would he win? Simple. Through the power of human tenacity. Through DETERMINATION.
