“Sleepy puppy,” Maciej said with a crooked grin, bouncing on the balls of his feet, eyes gleaming steel-blue. He puckered his lips into a pout. “Was a good idea.”
Lambert raised an eyebrow, arms crossed. “What was a good idea, kid?”
Maciej’s grin twisted, almost feral. His form rippled—red-and-black fur flickered along his forearms, claws scraping the air just enough to make Lambert’s jaw tighten. His eyes flashed wild, like a cornered cat daring you.
“Stabbing three things today. Felt alive,” Maciej said, voice sharp and breathless, feeding off chaos. “Like chasing shadows. Like hunting.”
He leaned in, whispering, eyes glinting. “Monsters aren’t scary. Boredom is. It eats you inside.”
Lambert smirked, cautious. “You’re lucky I like crazy.”
Maciej’s grin stretched too wide, teeth flashing sharp. A short, wild laugh.
“Lucky me,” he said, voice low. “If I’m dying, it better be quick. Pretty. No whining.”
Lambert shook his head. “You’re unhinged, kid.”
Maciej’s eyes flicked—half-cat, half-boy. “Maybe. But boring? That’ll kill us all.” -

The thing about Kaer Morhen being so ancient, a stronghold for supernaturally gifted monster hunters, was that the whole thing was soaked in magic. Trevor figured that, much like the old Belmont home, there must have been some pretty fun things hidden away. Maybe there wasn't a separate hidden keep inside the witchers' keep, not like the Belmont's had under their home, but the witchers had probably still gathered a lot of awesome things over the centuries of traveling the continent.

Lambert was sitting at the bar minding his business when an all too familiar scent hit his nose and Lambert froze. He’d recognise that perfume anywhere - it was one of his, afterall.
His products were pretty popular amongst the alternative crowd so it was kind of strange to realise Milena was wearing one of his perfumes.
That particular scent was Lambert’s take on a classic rose fragrance. It smelled of dark roses, mossy earth, with an odd, cold metallic note that the blurb on his website likened to Sleeping Beauty pricking her finger.
As far as openings go, he was never going to get a better one. So he steeled himself, took a sip of his drink, and steeled himself some more.
“I like your perfume,” he managed to say without tripping over his tongue.
“Oh, thank you,” Milena blushed. “It’s called Prick Your Finger,” she stammered slightly.
Lambert grinned wolfishly, knowing full well that the label on the bottle only said PRICK but that Milena was too damn sweet to say it.

“I’d suggest you drink that now, ugly one,” she murmurs, kissing Ciri’s temple, and yeah, something is extremely fishy.
She pulls the wax from the potion’s cork, unstoppers it, and drinks all of it in one go.
Ciri ends up on the receiving end of the new toys Yennefer got the Wolves.

Gersham’s Note: 128 personal years after Lavinia finished her missions in the MCU she has cut herself off from her duties as a mentor. Her depressive episodes have come back and she’s developed new habits that are worrying. I know she misses Sargent Barnes but how long does a person need to mourn before they can move on? Lavinia’s door has given her a Mimikyu which I find to be little more than a pest. And it seems that her door is not done giving her companions because she has aquired a Witcher by the name of Geralt. If this was a human being I would say, with confidence, that they seem to be in over their head and are desperately grasping at straws at this point. But we don’t argue with the doors, that’s rule one but I sure hope that it knows what it’s doing.
This case study was originally intended to prove without a doubt why no one should be made immortal at the Citadel. I pray I’ve made the case plain and well.
