Sunny has always been a silent boy. His family learned that quickly, none more-so than his doting older sister. She learned all of his little tells. Those minuscule changes in his facial features that show those adorable, oh so rare emotions.
But lately it feels like his expression hasn’t been changing much from his usual stone faced demeanor. If anything he has been displaying less happy emotions and more sad ones. What could be bothering her sweet little brother!? She will find out or her name isn’t Mari Suzuki, best big sister in the world!

Sunny is being even less expressive than normal and is displaying more negative emotions. Mari is intent on finding out why and remedying this.

Mari Suzuki is 17 when her mother divorced her father and took her brother. Suddenly having left a void in their family, Mari wonders where she and her father had gone wrong as they continue to live their lives in the small town called Faraway.
Sunny SZK is 18 when he'd been declared the Nation's sweetheart, or as they like to call him, sunshine, on live TV. He can see his mother behind the cameras and he flashes a smile, which gets thrown around social media for weeks. He's lived peacefully, but then an unusual message arrives in his inbox.
tl;dr I make Mrs. Suzuki divorce her husband and take Sunny with her, somehow, that changes a lot.

This story takes place 2 years after the True Ending of Omori. Sunny and Basil end up homeless for reasons that will be explained later. They now wander the streets of the City Sunny moved to after the ending of the game. The city used in Omori Reverie will be my inspiration for most of where this story takes place, but some things may be different or added for the sake of a more expansive story. This AU was inspired by a peice of artwork made by gwuen on YouTube, with their permission to use the concept and idea.

My first fic! I don't know why exactly it was sunburn, considering that this game has long since been forgotten, but I just felt like it. Sue me. Anyway, this is the most baby baby fic ever. It's literally just fluff. Its just the 2 of them loving eachother and that is all.

Sunny moved out of Faraway without connecting back with any of his friends. Around two years later, he begins to hallucinate again.
Sunny is actually doing a lot better now, and thanks to his mom he has a therapist and is finishing high school online. Then, Sunny’s mom surprises him with a trip to Faraway, the place where both of them were tattered and broken.
Once Sunny returns to Faraway, near-hourly hallucinations turn into him becoming fully immersed in his dream world again, unaware of the things happening outside of his head. A certain someone is taking over while he’s dreaming, and he has no memories of what happened when he was gone.
That’s a problem. With Sunny getting pulled back into the past, all he wants is Mari. He hasn’t remembered the truth yet, and believes she’s at college, and will be coming back soon. How wrong he is. Constant reminders of his times with his friends when he was young begin triggering panic attacks, where he begs for Mari until getting sucked back into Headspace.
Sunny is sharing his body with someone who once wanted him dead. Now this someone is tired of their job, and is trying to make Sunny remember the things they helped him forget.
