as jeongguk walks by the hotel restaurant, the music grows louder-there, behind the elegant tables, is a piano. and behind the piano, there is the most beautiful man he's ever seen.
the song ends, and the man looks up. his eyes are bright, deep. they meet jeongguk’s, who is all of the sudden too aware that his mouth is a bit open, and that he’s been standing in the hallway for the past ten minutes.
jeongguk gulps, turns around and heads towards the elevator as fast as he can without running. he doesn’t take a deep breath until the elevator doors have closed behind him and he’s on his way up.
it’s not until the shiny numbers on top of the door show a bright yellow 16 that his brain clears up and he can conjure something other than the ethereally beautiful man from the piano. he blames it on exhaustion; his biological clock reminds him it’s three am in new york and he’s been awake for about twenty-two hours straight now.
OR, jeongguk is a photographer that travels to Seoul for work, and ends up falling for the hotel pianist.
