Summary
Jiao fantasises about ravishing Gan, so that he won't know who it is that's touching him.
It's Gan's birthday, and the Cavalry boys have bought him a night with a famed courtesan. But there's a catch: he must remain blindfolded and bound, unable to touch her or see her.
So, Gan sits there, naked and helpless, tied to a big, sturdy chair. His legs are spread wide open, tied to the legs of the chair; his wrists are tied to the armrests. The red ropes are mostly ornamental, however: crisscrossing his chest and belly, they but serve to accentuate the beauty of his burly, muscular body. He's blindfolded, sweaty and nervous, but suppresses this with the determination of an old soldier. He's been told this is an exquisite erotic game, a specialty of this particular courtesan: the blindfold and the bonds are tools with which she'll not only enhance his pleasure, they'd said, but bring him to its utmost heights.
Jiao is there, dressed and coiffed and perfumed like a woman: his skin softened with rose-scented creams, his face painted and powdered, all his body hair depilated; he's even shaved off his stubbly little beard. All Gan will feel is soft skin and softer silk; all he will smell are flowers and rouge.
