just finished this in under 48 hours... feeling #insane. just felt like i needed to say something after reading all the author's notes because: annie, i've been reading your work for years and it never fails to make me feel alive. truly. the amount of times i've reread every single work of yours is actually, positively insane. i found out i loved reading through fanfic, and in part because of your amazing stories. i would say even mainly because of them. and as time passes, it becomes increasingly difficult to pretend like your works are not my favorite piece of reading material out there (every conversation goes like "do you like reading?" "yes, i love it" "oh, what's your favorite book?" and then i have to say whatever famous sci-fi book i've read and liked, instead of "the midnight streets are running red by annie_vi, have you heard of it?" :p) but we power through. so yeah, just wanted to say i'm so happy you didn't let mean words typed up by (probably) internet bots and (most likely) people jealous of your writing prowess deter you from releasing some of the best work i've read in my whole life!!!! thank you for providing these incredible, amazingly intricate little worlds i can imagine up and run away to when everything is too much. love you!
