Summary
Building off of Artsy Hobbitses' Humanformers AU.
Just after the Great War of the early 20th century, the Quintessons invaded Earth and enslaved the human race. They would hold sway for twenty-five years, give or take, during which they performed experiments on the world, its people, and harvested both for resources.
In a war-scarred London, a man named Victor Prentiss remembers what it means to have hope.
Story complete as of 9/2. Content warnings are per chapter, but general CWs are violence, trauma, death, and nonconsensual human experimentation.
