He stood still, ignoring the way the cuffs dully bit into the sides of his wrists. His bare feet were planted firmly on the floor as they held up his weight. His cell room was, as always, absolutely silent. Until the telltale drag of his chamber’s door cut through that silence.
He didn’t bother looking up, but he felt it. A shift in the stale air of his bleak room. The visitor hadn’t peeped a word.

There was no possible way Wednesday was truly awake. This had to be a nightmare— and not the good kind. Tyler Galpin had tried to kill her. So why would he bother visiting her now? She decided to go along with the dream. Not like she had anywhere else to be.
“What do you want, Tyler?” Her eyes narrowed.
