Hot as Hell follows the LAPD and FBI team-up between Lucifer and Bones teams as they uncover a secretive organisation manipulating global events.
This work is headcanon for both series and can be seen as Lucifer, Season 4, Episode 9.5, and Bones, Season 8, Episode 19.5.
It takes place in the Lucifer timeline after S04E09 Save the devil save the world and before S04E10 Who's da New King of Hell?. Luci just split with Eve but is not yet romantically involved with Chloe. Having a wing sitch.
It takes place in Bones' timeline after S08E19 The Doom in the Gloom, and before S08E20 The Blood from the Stones. Though yet not married, Booth and Brennan are already together with a mature relationship and a child. Sweets has just moved out of B&B's.
