Summary
He knew the Doctor was right. There really could be anything out there. The flowers could be full of, say, venomous snakes. There could be people lurking nearby with guns. It might start raining acid. But he’d had a good night’s sleep for the first time in a week and freshly showered and breakfasted he felt like he could take on anything.
The Doctor and Steven land on an unexplored planet.

Summary
The sound sent Bret’s mind rushing back to their first encounter. Steven lying in that peculiar spacecraft, slick with sweat, whimpering and moaning in agony. He wondered, if he were to lay Steven out upon the Guardian’s bed and give him some small relief, if those were the noises he would make.

Summary
Following the Tardis taking a wrong turn in the time vortex, Steven Dodo and the Doctor find themselves in 1973- in a universe quite different from their own.
While the Doctor encounters a familiar face, Steven and Dodo navigate BBC Television Center all the while meeting the stars of a popular children's show and dodging comments thrown at Steven about his haircut.Basically I know way too much about this show and for enrichment put Steven into it.

He sniffed. “This is very silly. Why shouldn’t I keep it? I let you keep Steven, didn’t I?”
“Steven isn’t slimy or squelchy,” said Vicki. “Well, I suppose he’s sometimes a little slimy –”

“Has it really been two years since anyone hugged you?”
“I suppose so, yes.”
“That’s awful,” she said. “I wish you’d said so. I would’ve given you a hug.”
“Maybe I didn’t want a hug.”

“My friends,” he choked out. “Where are my friends?”
Those hands touched his shoulders again. “Your friends?”
He couldn’t find the words to describe them. He grasped at his caretaker’s wrist. “The – the little one – and the big one – do you know where they are?”
It was a moment before he got a reply, and when it came it sounded vaguely amused. “The little one and the big one?”

Summary
In this ongoing retrospective, I attempt to delve into the more-than-60-year history of the Doctor Who universe and make some (probably controversial) determinations about what works for me and what doesn't. I breakdown the series serial by serial, analyzing plot elements, characterizations, story arcs, and more! If you like fandom discourse and dream in TARDIS blue, this is probably the project for you.

Summary
Steven Taylor is a man of the skies. Harry Sullivan is of the seas. From a sticky pub beside UNIT HQ in 2017, Harry helps tie him down.
(aka, a desperate excuse at pulling vague threads of a plot together to let a couple of bisexual kings fuck without being abused or traumatised by the Doctor)

“Dodo didn’t know what the Beatles were doing in the TARDIS but she was well excited to see them because the Beatles were dead sexy. And then Steven said Dodo, this is John George Paul and Ringo – your new owners.” Lowering the pages, Steven said, “I have questions.”

Steven took a slow breath against the sick feeling in his gut. “Maybe I misheard you. I thought you said we were just over the event horizon of a black hole.”
“Yes, yes indeed. That is precisely what I said. Absolutely fascinating, isn’t it?”
“Fascinating?” Steven sputtered.

Summary
The awful truth was, though he’d told himself the Doctor will be dead by now – he’d never believed it. The Doctor would find a way out. He always did. He wouldn’t just crawl into a corner and freeze to death like an animal.
The Doctor freezes to death.

Summary
“Oh, come on, Steven.” Dodo rolled her eyes. “Look around. It’s so peaceful here. Sand, and water, and nothing dangerous at all. How can anything possibly go wrong?”
At any given moment, there was a practically endless list of things that could go wrong. Steven’s entire life was testament to that fact.

Summary
'Then, the Doctor hummed to himself unsatisfactorily and opened his mouth to reply. But whatever sounds he was making, they weren’t human. Not English, not even an earth language- that was clear. Strange alien trilling that tickled Steven’s ears with sickly harmony. The consonants (if that was what they were, it was hard to make out) weaved around the room, Steven found them almost hypnotic. In contrast to the sing-song tune he uttered, which betrayed no tone, the Doctor’s face turned to one of irritation. Steven stared at the old man, he had never heard anything like that before and it scared him.'
The Tardis translation circuit breaks, leaving Steven the Doctor and Dodo stranded on their own little islands of language.

Summary
'“I’ve been… travelling.” She muttered, “It’s hard to keep track these days.”
“Not the type to settle down then?”
“I don’t know what you’re insinuating.” Sara replied hastily, though she absolutely knew what he meant. “What about you then, how’s ‘settling down’ working out for you?” She threw the question back at him and he gave a coy grin.
“Well, who’s to say I want that? I’m having fun, I’m not about to throw all t’at away.”
“Oh, really? Fun sounds nice.” She’s half sarcastic, half serious. It had been a stressful time recently, maybe she needed some relief.'
Needing a break from travelling on the Tardis, Sara seeks comfort in a familiar face.
