The King of Curses made a decision he hopefully won't regret.
"Just don’t end up dying yourself in the process. Just as I would’ve died today if you hadn’t been there, you’ll see there are plenty of people yet to come that need you, too."
He'll try to change all of their fates.
"Because you’re a jujutsu sorcerer now, Itadori-kun."
Sukuna started to form a plan in his mind.

Sukuna gains canon memories after Junpei dies and saves all of our favorite characters because he became a big softie. Yuji also may remember a thing here and there and is trying to keep it all together :)
Or, I'm fixing canon because Gege feeds of off our tears. Shibuya is gonna go crazy and all our faves will be saved. Pinky promise ^^
Not a one on one retelling, there will be many original scenes and changes

It's Yuuji who becomes a victim of the curse, so why is Sukuna the one to suffer from it? As a result, the King of Curses separates from the boy's body to gain his very small one. Sukuna… turned into a child, and he doesn't remember anything?! Also, why is he so wary of the adults, reserved with his words, mostly glaring at everyone beside Yuuji, never smiling, and flinching at every touch?
Or: Sukuna is five for a few days, and Yuuji takes care of him, getting more and more concerned at how he must have been treated as a child if his behavior is anything to go by.

“Yuuji ruined the other bed so I took it out,” he explained and glanced at the bed under him and then at Sukuna, “hope you don’t mind if we…”
He looked unsure but nodded anyways, “It’s… okay,” he mumbled as he walked over to the bed and sitting down on it too. It was big enough for the both of them, but what Sukuna’s not liking is how small the space between them will be.
Yes the bed is wide enough that two of them can sleep in their own comfortable sleeping positions, it’s just that Sukuna’s comfortable position include not being around other people. But he can’t really complain now can he?
