For this I got assigned a villager and had to write a snippet of our OC's first interaction with them.

Before Jerusha arrives in Stardew Valley, Jodi unsuccessfully tries to seduce Doctor Harvey in his clinic. This leads to a permanent awkwardness between them. Jerusha doesn't know anything of this at this point, and Harvey would never be able to tell her anyway, because of patient confidentiality.
I'm going to expand on this slightly further in the current chapter of H&J, so it was timely that I got Jodi for this prompt!

What do you do when a certain Balrog Slayer has just waltzed into the Hall of Fire after being reborn, like he only popped out ten minutes ago to powder his nose? Erestor doesn't know. There aren't protocols for that. All he knows is that Glorfindel is handsome, Lindir is going to tease him about this for a century and he needs to find somewhere in Imladris for him to stay.
Things can't get more complicated than that, right?
There are consequences to dalliances with a bonded elf, consequences Erestor doesn't wish to feel.
