Suddenly aware and growing insecure of his accent leads him to grow insecure of his skin, leading him to grow insecure of his weight, leading him down a spiral. He needs to be perfect. We were all just conveniently there and fit into her schemes so she revived us. Well,” he took a deep breath, “I, for one, have no fucking intention of being part of Batman’s emotional support family because the man didn’t manage to take care of himself properly!” He glared at Wayne, who winced slightly but still didn’t say anything.

After Batman dies due to an injury he received on patrol, Gotham is devastated. So, she decides to use some of her power to revive him. Not wanting to lose him a second time, she also analyzes what went wrong and comes to the conclusion that her Bat was lacking the support network most humans have, a so-called ‘family’. Luckily, this is solved easily: She’ll just revive some others in her domain as well, a caretaker and several young humans called ‘children’. They can be her Bat’s family and her Bat can happily continue to fight the rot that has spread through her borders. Perfect!OR OR

Dick shook his head but continued to brush his gelding's tail out. Jason wasn't worried. Bruce had been coaching him plenty. He'd practiced with the equipment, ridden steers, and even rode a few practice bulls that Bruce had gotten for him. Never once getting more than a sprain or a couple bumps with bruises. Jason was more than ready. He was taking home the win this weekend he had no doubts about it. Eight seconds of glory and he'd be the name in everyone's mouths.
